HC Deb 02 March 1922 vol 151 c596W
Mr. ERSKINE

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the Argentine Government have considered the representations made by him with reference to fair treatment for British-owned railways: and, if so, with what result?

Mr. HARMSWORTH

A special commission has been considering the question of railway tariffs in the Argentine, and, after consultation with the various interests concerned, has recommended increases on certain classes of traffic. These recommendations are at present under consideration by the Argentine Government.
