§ Sir A. MONDThe number of ex-service men employed in a temporary capacity in the Ministry of Health who competed at the recent examinations for the clerical class was 771. Of these 75 passed, 105 qualified, and 591 failed. 472416W of those who failed applied to appear before the Investigating Board suggested in the Lytton Committee's third Interim Report, and 154 of them were recommended for consideration to the Investigating Board.
