§ Sir A. MONDThe Enfield improvements should make a marked difference, but I cannot say whether all pollution of the river will be prevented. No change in the Tottenham sewage arrangements are proposed: this sewage is passed into the London County Council sewers, and should therefore not pollute the river Lea.
