§ Mr. FISHERThe expenses of the three Burnham Committees, except as 569W regards a certain amount of clerical assistance and a shorthand note of their proceedings, were not borne by the Board of Education. The members of the Committees were appointed by the Associations of County Councils, Municipal Corporations and Education Committees, on the one hand, and, on the other, by the various Associations of Teachers.
