§ Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSON22,277 vessels of 348,406 net tons were on the Fishing Boats Register on 31st December, 1920, at ports in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands, and Isle of Man. The figures for 31st December, 1921, are not yet available. As regards the number of fishing vessels which are lying up in British ports, I would refer to the reply given by the Minister of Agriculture and378W Fisheries on the 12th June to the hon. Member for Holland with Boston (Mr. Royce).
