The area of1026W the land still held by the War Department is 170 acres, and the average number of troops in occupation during the last six months was 29 officers and 703 other ranks. As it has been anticipated that the huts will be given up in the near future, only the barest minimum has been spent on the maintenance of buildings. In the the year 1921–22 the expenditure was £50. The annual payment for the land is £306.
