§ Mr. SHORTTI have been asked to reply. Licensed importers are required to keep records of their sales, and these records are inspected from time to time. The records would not show, however, the areas to which the drug is eventually distributed, as it may pass through several hands, wholesale chemist, manufacturing chemist and others, before it reaches the medical practitioner, dentist or other person by whom it is used.
