DAVIESasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether his Department has received information that great German stocks have been accumulated in Java in readiness for rapid transportation to Australia; what is the nature of those stocks; and whether any action in the matter is possible or under consideration?
Mr. WOODI have no information other than that which has recently appeared in the public Press. It does not appear, in any case, that His Majesty's Government could take action in the matter.
