§ Mr. BRIDGEMANStatistics are not collected separately for the County of Glamorgan or the Rhondda Valley. In the South Wales and Monmouthshire coalfield, the total royalty rent paid in the quarter ended March, 1921, was about £321,700, or rather more than 9½d. per ton of coal raised. Particulars for the quarter ended December, 1921, are not yet available.
