§ Mr. HOPKINSasked the Minister of Health if his attention has been called to the address entitled the Architect and the State, which was delivered to the Society of Architects on the 12th January by the Director-General of Housing; and what action he proposes to take in the matter?
§ Sir A. MONDMy attention has been called to the address in question, in which I gather that the Director-General suggested that the architects and others had not fully availed themselves of the opportunities which their participation in the housing scheme afforded them. I am afraid there is ground for thinking that this is true of most of the parties concerned in the housing scheme, and I do not think that any action on my part is required as regards the Director-General of Housing, whose services have been of the utmost value to the State.
