§ Mr. BROADasked the Home Secretary whether he is aware that the magistrates sitting at Brentford have refused to witness declarations under the Vaccination Act, 1907; whether he will inform them that their action is illegal; and 2009W whether any letter of instruction or advice has been sent to magistrates to cause them to refuse to witness such declarations?
§ Mr. BRIDGEMANI have communicated with the chairman of the Bench, who informs me that the Justices have not refused to witness any such declarations. The second part of the question therefore does not arise. The answer to the third part is in the negative.
