§ Mr. E. WOODI regret that, owing to the partial suspension of the collection of statistics during the War, I am unable to give figures for the year 1918–19. The numbers of children who left public elementary schools in the three counties mentioned (including the county boroughs) in 1919–20 and 1920–21 were as follow:
