Mr. DIXONasked the Minister of Agriculture if the proposed Departmental Committee on the cost to consumer of agricultural produce will also inquire into the cost of feeding cake, milling offals and manures, and as to how far the price is increased unfairly by the operation of trade rings?
§ Sir R. SANDERSThe terms of reference to the Committee have not yet been finally settled, but as at present advised, I propose to limit the reference to the Committee to questions relating to agricultural, horticultural and dairy produce. It will be for the Committee, when set up, to decide on the particular articles to which their inquiry will be directed.
