asked the Under-Secretary of State for War how many officers with Special Reserve commissions were removed from the Army in 1919, and how many are still on the active list?

The number of Special Reserve officers whose names were gazetted out from the Special Reserve in 1919 is 1,635. Of these, 38 were "removed" by sentence of court-martial or otherwise. The number of, officers on the active list Militia (as it is now called) is 652.
