HC Deb 03 August 1922 vol 157 c1691W
Mr. BRIANT

asked the Secretary of State for War if any of the members of the council of management of the United Services Fund are salaried officials of the British Legion; if so, what are their names and salaries;

(2) what were the salaries paid to full-time employés on the council of management of the United Services Fund; when they were first engaged; whether they have been increased; the date on which increased; and the amount now received?

Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANS

As has been explained to the House before, the United Services Fund was formed by a Royal Charter, and the council of management which is the governing body of the fund is not accountable to the War Office. I am not, therefore, in a position to give the information for which the hon. Member asks.
