§ Dr. MACNAMARAThe High Court decision of last January that certain classes of caretakers and cleaners are not insurable under the Unemployment Insurance Acts has naturally led to a very large number of claims for refund of contributions. Special steps were taken to deal with these claims as expeditiously as possible, and, in general, I do not think there has been any undue delay. I cannot identify the cases referred to in the question, but if my hon. and gallant Friend will send me particulars I will look into them.
