§ Mr. WATERSONasked the Secretary of State for War whether an Instruction has been issued to officers commanding tank units pointing out that married families in certain places are, in a great number of cases, most averse to vaccination, and containing a threat to deprive the occupants who object to vaccination of the Government quarters; whether, as vaccination is not compulsory, there is any authority, and, if so, what, by which soldiers and their families can be penalised for exercising their legal right of refusal; and, if not, whether he will have the Instruction withdrawn?
§ Sir R. SANDERSAn Instruction on this subject was recently issued locally. It was irregular, and orders for its withdrawal have been given.
