HC Deb 11 April 1922 vol 153 c244W
Colonel WEDGWOOD

asked the Under-Secretary of State for India whether he can yet make any statement as to the Burma Constitution; and, if not, when we may expect such a statement?

Earl WINTERTON

I understand that despatches from the Government of India containing their considered proposals for draft rules and their recommendations on the Report of the Whyte Committee are now on their way from India. The hon. and gallant Member may rest assured that there will be no avoidable delay in dealing with these when they arrive.
