Mr. YOUNGThe two temporary civil servants who were certificated for appointment to permanent posts carrying salaries over £500 in the last six months are Sir T. Duncan Rhind and Mr. E. A. Lumley. The latter was certificated as Finance and Establishment Officer at the National Physical Laboratory, in view of his special qualifications for the post.
