§ Mr. LAWSONasked the President of the Board of Education whether he is aware that it is being stated by teachers 2050W that their salaries were fixed by the Burnham Committee on the assumption that their pensions were non-contributory; and, if so, will this fact be taken into consideration before giving a decision on the Geddes proposal for a 5 per cent. contribution towards pensions?
§ Mr. FISHERI am aware that such statements are being made. There will be an opportunity for discussion of the point when the provisions of the Bill are before Parliament.
