BENNasked the Postmaster-General why it is necessary to send three telegrams and apply for three orders to transmit a sum of £100 by telegraph; what is the objection to making arrangements for such sums to be included in one transmission; whether his attention has been called to a case in which a trawl owner at Granton was required to comply with this procedure; and whether he is aware that delay in the case in question was prejudicial to the conclusion of an export contract.
