§ Mr. ATKEYasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Transport whether it is the intention of paragraph 29 of the Registration and Licensing Regulations that in no cases may useful loads be carried by vehicles bearing general identification marks when the main purpose of use is in accordance with the Regulations; and whether, as such an interpretation leads to waste of effective transport and consequent financial loss to the community, he will consider a revision thereof?
§ Mr. NEALThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative, and to the second in the negative. The use of these general identification marks has been attended by grave abuse and this prevents any relaxation of the Regulations.
