HC Deb 01 March 1921 vol 138 c1630W
Mr. HURD

asked the Minister of Food what steps he is taking to ensure that hops from British Columbia shall no longer be regarded by his Department as foreign in origin?

Sir R. SANDERS

I have been asked to reply. The matter is now under discussion with the representatives of British Columbia, and it is expected that a method will be found whereby, so far as is consistent with the objects of the Hop Control, hops of Dominion origin will be admitted for sale in the United Kingdom without the restrictions attaching to forage hops.
