HC Deb 24 June 1921 vol 143 cc1708-9W
Mr. SAMUEL ROBERTS

asked the Secretary of State for War, whether the question of reassessing the pensions of pre-war permanent disability pensioners who served during the recent war has been considered; and, if so, what decision has been come to.

Mr. MACPHERSON

I have been asked to reply. It has been decided that the pensions of pre-war disability pensioners of over 14 years' service who served again in the Great War and were not again invalided shall be brought up to the rates of pension proposed for post-War in-validings, and similarly that pre-War disability pensioners of over 14 years' service who served during the Great War and were again invalided shall be eligible for Service allowances at War rates.
