HC Deb 20 June 1921 vol 143 c930W
Sir W. BULL

asked the Lord Privy Seal whether, having regard to the increasing number, he will consider the desirability of reverting to the practice of circulating once a week with the Papers a list of the Rules, Orders, &c., which have been presented during the Session and are required by Statute to lie upon the Table of the House for an appointed number of days which is still unexpired; and, in the event of his seeing fit to comply with this request, that each list shall state that such Rules and Orders can be obtained in the Vote Office if printed and in the Library if in manuscript?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

This list, which was previously circulated to Members, was, in the interest of economy, placed on the pink paper during the War. It is accordingly available to any Member who asks for it at the Vote Office. It is suggested that the additional expense involved in making this list of general circulation is hardly justified at the present moment. The Orders comprised in the list, like all other Parliamentary Papers, can be seen in the Library and, when printed, obtained at the Vote Office.
