HC Deb 20 June 1921 vol 143 cc911-2W
Mr. SPOOR

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, since the White Paper, entitled "Intercourse between Bolshevism and Sinn Fein," contains only the proposed draft of a treaty drawn up by certain unaccredited Russians in America, a point which is made by President de Valera in a memorandum also published in the White Paper, and since the Russian Government have denied the existence of such a treaty and describe it as an invention, he can say when the White Paper promised by Mr. Attorney-General for Ireland, containing evidence of a connection between the Dail Eireann and the Russian Soviet republic, will be published?

Mr. HARMSWORTH

When my right hon. Friend the Attorney-General, in reply to a question by my hon. Friend the Member for Kensington (Sir W. Davison) on the 21st April last, undertook to place a White Paper before the House on the question of intercourse between Bolshevism and Sinn Fein, he was referring to the documents which have since been published in Command Paper 1326.
