§ Mr. CHURCHILLThe Sudan has not been transferred from the Foreign Office to the Middle East Department of the Colonial Office. The political control of the Aden Protectorate has already been transferred from the Foreign Office to the Middle East Department of the Colonial Office. The transfer of the administrative control of Aden, however, has not yet taken place as certain financial details connected with the transfer are still under discussion with the Government of India.
