§ Mr. RAFFANasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether on two occasions recently Chief Inspector 452W Rabbit, of Freetown, Sierra Leone, has been successfully proceeded against in the local court of Sierra Leone; and whether it is proposed to retain this official in his present capacity?
§ Mr. CHURCHILLThis case has been considered. I am advised that Chief Inspector Rabbit had been at the most guilty only of excusable errors of judgment, and in these circumstances I do not propose to direct that any steps should be taken for his removal from his substantive office.
