asked the Minister of Health if he will take into consideration, in view of the large amount of unemployment and consequent distress, the advisability of making an allowance in contributions, under the National Health Insurance Act, so as to prevent a reduction in benefits to those who are drawing allowances under the Act?

The matter to which the hon. Member refers is receiving my serious consideration, in the hope that it may be possible to do something in the direction suggested.
