THORNEasked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that 67W all the proposals to increase certain of the postal rates as from 13th June will inflict financial hardship upon friendly and approved societies in all parts of the country; that the proposed increased charges will cost some of the friendly and approved societies several thousand pounds per annum; and if he is in a position to make modifications in regard to the proposed rates?
