§ Lieut.-Colonel STANLEYMy right hon. Friend has asked me to reply. The rules at present in force in the two services differ in this respect. The present view of the Army Council is that Army pay and Army pension should not be drawn concurrently, and the Royal Warrant for the pay, etc., of the Defence Force was issued on this basis.
