§ Sir R. SANDERSThe Northamptonshire County Council have received six applications for advances under Section 18 of the Land Settlement (Facilities) Act, 1919. One applicant has not yet been supplied with a holding, and his application has been deferred until he is supplied with land. Another applicant has withdrawn his application for a holding. The remaining four applications for advances have, been approved. In one case, however, the applicant has not taken up the loan, having found in the meantime that he did not require it.
