§ Mr. J. H. THOMASasked the Minister of Health whether, in order to remove the existing apprehension on the part of local authorities, he can definitely announce, in respect of housing schemes under the Housing and Town Planning Act, 1919, that houses not entirely completed at the expiry of the three years, namely, 31st July, 1922, will still rank for Government assistance?
§ Dr. ADDISONI can assure the right hon. Member that a local authority will not be prejudiced as regards financial assistance in respect of building commitments entered into with the approval of the Ministry of Health, which the local authority by reason of circumstances outside their control are unable to carry out within the prescribed period.
