§ Mr. BRIANTasked the Minister of Health what is the amount distributed by each London board of guardians in the form of out-relief to the unemployed men during the last 13 weeks; and if, in view of the additional burden thus cast upon the ratepayers of the poorest boroughs, he will advise the Government to make a repayment of the amount thus expended so that the cost may equally be borne by the community?

As regards the last part of the 985W question, it has already been intimated that additional contributions from the Exchequer in aid of local rates for Poor Law purposes are not to be expected.
