§ Mr. CHARLES EDWARDSasked the Minister of Health whether he will consider issuing an order or introducing legislation abolishing the disqualifications attached to the payment of old age pensions, so that the principle of universal pensions be enacted, to enable applicants for and recipients of old age pensions to derive the full benefit of their thrift and personal provision for old age, and to receive assistance from friends, employers, organisations, etc., without reduction of, or disentitlement to, the old age pension?
