§ Dr. ADDISONI propose to introduce as a separate Bill the Housing portion of the Bill of last Session. I am not at present in a position to state the course that will be taken with regard to the other portions of the Bill.
§ Mr. WATERSONasked the Minister of Health whether the Government will introduce legislation at an early date to deal with the housing question, as it is affected by the rejection in the House of Lords of the Ministry of Health's Administrative Provisions Bill; and whether any new contracts have been entered into with building guilds for the erection of houses since the end of last Session?
§ Dr. ADDISONYes, Sir: it is my intention to introduce legislation at an early date. Since the 24th December contracts with building guilds have been approved at Salford, Altrincham and Bowden for a total of 250 houses.
