§ Mr. ILLINGWORTHCapital expenditure on the development of the telephone service is not met out of revenue, but is provided out of loans authorised by special Money Acts. The amount expected to be spent in the current year up to 31st March next is £5,800,000. I am sending the hon. Member the figures for previous years.
