HC Deb 18 April 1921 vol 140 cc1549-50W
Mr. GILLIS

asked the Postmaster-General if he will assist the Ecclesfield Parish Council in obtaining a Sunday delivery and despatch of letters for Ecclesfield, as at present there is neither, several applications having been made to the general postmaster at Sheffield without success?

Mr. PEASE

If the Ecclesfield Parish Council pass a resolution in favour of a Sunday delivery and despatch of letters and furnish an assurance that the resolution represents the substantially unanimous desire of the inhabitants, I will consider the application, but I can give no pledge of compliance.
