Lieut.-Commander YOUNGInstructions have already been issued by the Board of Customs and Excise to their officers that, in connection with the administration of the German Reparation (Recovery) Act, certificates of origin may be dispensed with in respect of certain articles, including raw fruit and green vegetables, in the absence of any ground for suspecting German origin.
