§ Mr. LYLEasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will obtain and give to the House information as to the number of companies and firms which, having been resident or carrying on trade in the united Kingdom, have changed their place of residence or the seat of their trading operations so as to be situated outside the United Kingdom, as to the number of companies and firms which are known to be considering such a change at the present time, as to the profits earned by such companies and firms before such change, and as to the cases in which the existence of Excess Profits Duty has been assigned as one of the reasons for making such change?
