§ Mr. LAWSONasked the Secretary of State for India what is the latest information in his possession regarding the industrial troubles reported from India; how many strikes are in progress, where they are taking place, the character of the industry or department, the number of workers affected, and the demands they have put forward in each case; whether any disturbances have taken place in connection with these industrial disputes; and what action, if any, has been taken by the imperial or provincial governments, as the case may be, to bring about a settlement?
