Major HENDERSONasked the Secretary of State for War whether any decision has yet been reached in regard to the claims of ex-soldier clerks in the War Office to pensions?
§ Sir A. WILLIAMSONSanction was given in April last for all ex-soldier clerks of approved service and efficiency, with pre-War service as such in the War Office, and who were not more than 60 years of age on 1st March, 1920, to be considered240W for the pensionable establishment. The necessary steps have been taken accordingly for the issue of Civil Service certificates of qualification in the cases of clerks fulfilling the conditions specified.
