HC Deb 22 November 1920 vol 135 c62W
Major ENTWISTLE

asked the Prime Minister if he is aware that the funds out of which compensation is paid to the widows and dependants of fishermen who lost their lives through the War is nearing exhaustion, and will leave widows with only the Government allowance, which amounts to about 8s. 3d. per week; and if, in view of this, he will adopt the recommendation of the Select Committee on Pensions on this matter?

The PRIME MINISTER

The recommendations of the Select Committee on Pensions on this matter are under consideration.
