§ Sir W. MITCHELL-THOMSONThe average price at which Danish bacon is being sold by the Ministry of Food is 230s. per cwt. The prices paid to the Danish producer are based on an average of approximately 200s. per cwt., but the hon. Member will recognise that to this price have to be added certain charges such as commission, loss in weight in handling, and delivery.
