§ Dr. ADDISONThe number of houses commenced by local authorities is 52,857, the total of loans raised for housing purposes being £86,500,000. These figures are exclusive of those relating to the schemes of public utility societies and under the subsidy, which amount to about a further 28,000 houses.
§ Captain MOREINGasked the Minister of Health what sums of money have been advanced to local authorities for housing purposes by the Public Works Loans Commissioners; and what is the average rate of interest charged on these advances?
