§ Mr. McCURDYBefore bacon was re-controlled in August, 1919, competent advice was taken by my predecessor from trade experts. I have not had the advantage of seeing the public statements referred to by the hon. Member, but if he will be good enough to let me have these statements, and the names of the persons who have made them, I shall be glad to investigate the matter.
