§ Sir A. FELLasked the Prime Minister why it is necessary to await the ratification of the last treaty of peace with the smallest of the Powers which have been engaged in the late War before the date of the end of the War can be determined; and if he has considered, amongst other reasons for an early peace, the question of the commons and parks and public gardens which continue to be occupied with camps, enclosures, allotments, and buildings which deprive the public and the commoners of their rights of user and cause hardship and detriment to the health and well-being of the community?
§ The PRIME MINISTERI would remind my hon. Friend that the time of the termination of the War was fixed by Act of Parliament.
