§ Mr. THOMAS-STANFORDasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether his attention has been drawn to the hardship caused to a large number of practising accountants by an Order of the Treasury in March last that only chartered accountants or incorporated accountants would in future be eligible for appointment as public auditors under the Friendly Societies and Industrial and Provident Societies Acts; and whether the Order will be reconsidered with a view to the inclusion of accountants belonging to other recognised associations?
