§ Colonel YATEasked the Secretary of State for India whether his attention has been called to the anomalies arising out of the rules promulgated by the Government of India under the new Arms Act; and whether he proposes to take any action to remove them?
§ Mr. MONTAGUI have been in communication with the Government of India regarding this question, and am informed that they have removed anomalies as far as practicable where good grounds exist for doing so. They850W are also ready to receive further suggestions, and are issuing a leaflet explaining the policy of the Government and the requirements of the Rules so far as they affect individual holders of arms.
