Mr. HERBERTasked the Under-secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether Great Britain has got a special responsibility with regard to the Albanian State in so far as the Albanian State was constituted at the ambassadorial conference of 1913 under the presidency of Lord Grey of Falloden; and if Great Britain will support the request of the Albanian Government for admission to the League of Nations at the assembly of the League of Nations of 15th November?
Mr. HARMSWORTHNo, Sir; His Majesty's Government have no other responsibility than that shared by all the principal Allied Powers. Since there is no Albanian Government recognised by His Majesty's Government, the second part of the question does not arise.
